There is no recycling pickup on the 5th Wednesday of any month. Recyclables must be curbside prior to 7:00 a.m. on collection day. At present the Borough is collecting newspaper, magazines, advertising mail, cardboard, plastic containers, aluminum cans and glass.

Paper Products: all paper products including newspapers, junk mail, magazines, office paper, catalogs, paper bags and phone books may be placed in the same container.

Collection of Leaves and Garden Debris
Leaves must be separated from other disposable waste. Leaves will not be collected by the scavenger. From mid-March to mid-October of each year, leaves and other garden debris shall be placed in a biodegradable paper bag or container and placed curbside for pickup. Presently, our schedule for garden debris pick up is Monday for the North side and Tuesday for the South side. Branches shall be tied together or placed in containers curbside. Fall leaf pick up begins mid-October through end of November. At this time, leaves shall be placed in loose condition along the curb line of each dwelling unit. A one (1) foot space shall be maintained between the leaf pile and curb to allow for normal surface water flow in the event of rain. Keep leaves away from catch basins to avoid the catch basins from getting clogged. Do not mix branches with the leaves. Our fall leaf schedule pick up is Monday and Tuesday for the North and Thursday and Friday for the South.
