The Englewood Cliffs Council organizes its work through a series of standing committees, each led and staffed by Council Members. These committees allow the Council to focus on specific areas of municipal government, conducting in-depth reviews of legislation, budgets, and policy matters before items are brought before the full Council for a vote.

Each committee is chaired by a Council Member and meets regularly to discuss, deliberate, and make recommendations on issues within their area of responsibility. This committee structure ensures that every item brought before the Mayor and Council has received careful attention and thorough review by your elected representatives.
